Amber Cleveland’s Atlanta Wedding Update

As a wedding planner in Atlanta each month I have the opportunity to see beautiful venues, build working relationships with trusted vendors, see innovative ideas and attend inspirational events. Through this newsletter I hope to share the highlights of what is happening and what I have seen in Atlanta each month. Keep reading for ideas, events and places that you are sure to love!

Wedding Design Idea: August is one of the hottest months of the year. If you are planning an outdoor wedding anytime during the summer keeping your guests cool is really important. There are many ways to make sure your guests don’t over heat; providing chilled, bottled water, offering fans, and handing out cool towelettes are just a few ideas that will help keep everyone cool. And there are tons of ways to customize these details to suite your wedding (monogrammed labels for the water bottles for example).

Featured Atlanta Venue Month: Hotel Palomar

Hotel Palomar

Where: 866 West Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308

What sets them apart from the competition: There are two noteworthy services that Hotel Palomar features. The most striking aspect of their service is that the hotel is pet-friendly! Now nobody has to leave their doggie at home or find a pet-sitter. The second detail worth mentioning is that Hotel Palomar hosts only one wedding at a time, so you are sure to receive the dedicated attention you truly deserve on your wedding day.

Spotlighted Vendor: Sit n’ pretty chair covers

Sit N' Pretty

What they do: linen, chair cover, sash and overlay rental.

What sets them apart from the competition: They have unbelievable rates (chair covers and sashes that together are $3.50 per chair. And my favorite part… their price includes set up and break down. The only additional fee you pay is a delivery fee (usually only $60). You can’t beat those prices! And they offer exceptional customer service. (Check out the coupon at the bottom over this newsletter for an added value!)

Most Impressive Wedding Idea I’ve seen this month:

Use a recipe book for a guest book. This innovative idea is two-fold: your guest book will never find its way into a dark cramped corner in a closet, but be out on display all the time, & each time you cook from this cookbook you will see the well wishes and congratulations for your loved ones on your wedding day!
